Heavenly Father, your Son Jesus Christ prayed for peace

Yet suffered at the hands of violent people:

We pray for all who are the victims of violence;

Particularly we bring before you the lady who died so close to this place of prayer.

We pray for her family, friends and all who mourn her death.

We pray for the police and emergency service and for our local community

And all who have been unsettled by these events in recent days.

Bring peace where there has been no peace.

We ask these things in the power of the Spirit

Through Christ our Lord
