DESCRIPTION:We are starting a new online Worship Service where we can all take part.\nIt’s called Agape\, which means ‘love’.\n\nDuring the Service there will be readings\, prayers\, a meditation/reflection\, and an opportunity to share\, virtually\, food and drink. There is a Service paper below so you can follow the words and ‘join in’.  We encourage you to have some food and drink available beforehand\, maybe some wine and bread\, so that we can join in together. Oh\, and of course\, you are welcome to turn off your computer’s camera so no one can see you if you wish.\n\nSince the beginning of Covid 19\, we have been trying hard to find new and innovative ways for our worshipping communities to continue to come together and share in worship sacramentally\, even if we can’t share the Sacrament. We do hope you’ll be able to join us.\n\nThis is going to be a regular thing so don’t worry if you can’t join us every time.  Ideally we would like as many of our Mission Community Family to feel welcome to attend as often as they would like to do.  Our table is open!  There is no need to tell us if you are coming just turn up.\nThere are two Service papers for this Service (below)\, keep them both handy\, as we will be alternating between the two week by week.\n\n \n\n\nFor the time being the regular time will be Wednesdays at 11am.  \nThe Zoom invite is below. (A WOMEN LED\, GLOBAL\, ECUMENICAL MOVEMENT) \nTheme: BUILD ON A STRONG FOUNDATION \nWhen: Friday July 2nd at 2pm \nWhere: St Andrews Church\, Buckland Monochorum \nWorld Day of Prayer is an international\, inter-church organisation which enables us to hear the thoughts of women from all parts of the world; their hopes\, concerns and prayers. \nThis year the women of the Republic of Vanuatu (located in the South Pacific Ocean) have prepared this year’s service. The black and white sandy beaches\, coral reefs with coloured fishes\, lovely birds\, fruits and nuts in the forest\, all make the islands a pristine environment but they are vulnerable to frequent tropical storms\, earthquakes\, cyclones\, tsunamis and active volcanoes. Women\, men and children of all ages are called to ‘Build on a strong foundation’ and live in unity\, love and peace in the context of ethnic and cultural diversity like Vanuatu and so many other places around the world. \nDue to Covid restrictions this years service has been delayed until Friday July 2nd at 2pm in St Andrews Church\, Buckland Monochorum. Finally we will be able gather with the relevant Covid precautions in place to celebrate the service prepared by the women of Vanuatu. \nWe would love to see you at this interdenominational service \nFor more information and to let us know how many of you are coming\, please contact \nacbarwick@btinternet.com

SUMMARY:Agape
DESCRIPTION:We are starting a new online Worship Service where we can all take part.\nIt’s called Agape\, which means ‘love’.\n\nDuring the Service there will be readings\, prayers\, a meditation/reflection\, and an opportunity to share\, virtually\, food and drink. There is a Service paper below so you can follow the words and ‘join in’.  We encourage you to have some food and drink available beforehand\, maybe some wine and bread\, so that we can join in together. Oh\, and of course\, you are welcome to turn off your computer’s camera so no one can see you if you wish.\n\nSince the beginning of Covid 19\, we have been trying hard to find new and innovative ways for our worshipping communities to continue to come together and share in worship sacramentally\, even if we can’t share the Sacrament. We do hope you’ll be able to join us.\n\nThis is going to be a regular thing so don’t worry if you can’t join us every time.  Ideally we would like as many of our Mission Community Family to feel welcome to attend as often as they would like to do.  Our table is open!  There is no need to tell us if you are coming just turn up.\nThere are two Service papers for this Service (below)\, keep them both handy\, as we will be alternating between the two week by week.\n\n \n\n\nFor the time being the regular time will be Wednesdays at 11am.  \nThe Zoom invite is below.
