SUMMARY:Walk in aid of Devon Historic Churches Trust
DESCRIPTION:Amendment (16th August 2020)  This walk is now part of the West Dartmoor Mission Community Circuit walk being organised by Horrabridge church. The details and timings below have therefore changed slightly.  As part of this longer walk we will still be walking from St Paul’s church car park now leaving at 10.30 to Meavy and then onto Sheepstor. Further details will be posted when we have them from the organiser Elaine Hay of Horrabridge. \n  \nMembers of St Peter’s congregation and friends  will walk to raise funds  for the Devon Historic Churches Trust and St Peter’s Church Meavy \nWe plan to meet in St Paul’s church car park\, walk to Meavy and then onto Sheepstor church. The option will be to walk back again if you feel like it or to arrange your own collection from Meavy or Sheepstor – or continue with the circuit walk as above.  \nDue to the Coronavirus restrictions in place at present (16th August) you will need to bring your own refreshments and there may be no toilet facilities available. We also may have to change the date\, or cancel  dependent on the situation nearer the time. \nSt Peter’s  will arrange their own sponsorship or donation to raise funds for the DHCT – remember 50% comes back to your own church. \nContact sbgordon48@hotmail.com for further information on these sections of the walk.
