DESCRIPTION:A celebration of the musical heritage of the parish church that has stood at the heart of Tavistock for over 700 years on Sunday 21 Sep 19.00 – 2130 . The programme will include performances on the church’s organ (installed in 1846)\, together with choral works by the Church Choir and guest singers. You are invited to participate and there are 3 rehearsals organised in Aug at 1900 on the 14\, 21 and 28 and we shall hopefully have one more in September. SUMMARY:Horrabridge Festival of Nativity Scenes
DESCRIPTION:Horrabridge Festival of Nativity Scenes will be running this year from 6-14 Dec\, 1400-1800 each day (last entry 1730). Come and see\nthe wonderful scenes created by various churches and individuals in the village and surrounding villages. There will also be a Christmas hamper raffle and a stall selling bric-a-brac and delicious homemade cakes to enjoy with a hot drink. Entry is free and all profit made will go towards replacing some of the guttering on the north and south sides of the church. \nIf anyone could organise or help with this event please contact Jenny for more information (jennyp@uwclub.net).
