DESCRIPTION:The first third of this ancient custom will be starting at 1000 on Sat 7 Oct from the Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale and finishing at the Whitchurch Inn. This centuries-old tradition was used to remind local communities of their boundaries. Distance approx 6 miles\, children welcome accompanied by an adult\, bring picnic lunch.
