DESCRIPTION:On Pentecost Sunday\, 23rd May\, all churches in the Mission Community will remember the people of Thika Diocese. \nThe Mission Community will be supporting Thungururu (semi-arid area of Thika where there are no permanent rivers and rainfall is increasingly unreliable) – Farming God’s way- this is an amazing project training people to change their farming practices to move them from relying on food aid to self -sufficiency. \nCollections and Donations at this year’s Pentecost services at all our churches will be going to support our linked project at Thika in Kenya. They will all need to come to me as Mission Community treasurer for it to be combined into a single donation..
